A website for a psychotherapist of nearly thirty years, built to be clear and human for a first-time visitor.
Sacha Khan has practised for nearly thirty years, spanning the Priory, Roehampton and private practice on Harley Street. The clinical weight was there; his old site was not carrying it.
The brief was a site that reads as seriously professional without turning clinical or cold - a place where the work is understood before it is read.
A single hand-built page - static HTML, no template, no CMS - on Sacha's own domain. Scroll the frame to see the whole thing; it holds its shape from desktop down to a handset.
The project started with a written discovery questionnaire, then a synthesis. The core came back in Sacha's own words: professionalism, and treating people as individuals, not just a diagnosis. Three words to aim for: professional, confident, reassuring.
The site is ordered by audience, with the common concerns first and the credentials close behind. His words were edited, not rewritten, so the tone stayed his.
Areas of focus are set out as a clear, scannable list - anxiety, depression, trauma, and the rest - each with one plain line, so a visitor can see themselves quickly.
Cormorant Garamond sets the display - the wide-tracked name and the section titles. Sora carries the body. Inter handles the small labels. A warm paper ground, near-black ink, a softer brown for reading. No decorative colour.
